"Open Youth" and the „Traffic Police” departments of the Regional Directorates of the Ministry of Interior in Smolyan, Stara Zagora and Pleven will carry out joint campaigns for local young people to promote their responsible behavior not only on the road, but also in life.

Within the “Road safety in South East European regions” (ROSEE) project from 25 to 27 September 2013 “Open Youth” will carry out a three-day training course "Road Safety Audit" for enhancing institutional capacity and upgrade the professional skills of professionals working for road safety.

On August 26, 2013 "Open Youth" officially launched its National program for capacity building to enhance road safety with its presentation to forty specialists and experts in the field of road safety, participating in the "Speed management" course , covering Sofia city, Sofia region, Kyustendil, Blagoevgrad, Pernik, Vratsa, Montana and Vidin districts, representing national, regional and municipal authorities, police and NGOs.

"Open Youth" is a partner in the project “Road safety in South East European regions” (ROSEE), supported by the European Union South East Europe Transnational Cooperation Programme. A series of one-day “Speed management” courses for enhancing institutional capacity and upgrade the professional skills of professionals working for road safety is envisaged within the project.

On 10th of August 2013 in Pernik on “Krakra” square from 10 to 17 o’clock a joint training on "Eco-driving" will be held by “Open Youth” organization and “Obectiv” association – Youth Information and Consultant Center – Pernik. It will be an individual training for moderate driving with minimum fuel cost and green gas emission. A special software in the driving simulator will analyze the driver behavior, will calculate more optimal one and will give recommendations, if necessary.
