The representatives of the seven partner organizations of the project “INSIDE: International Network for Social Inclusion, Democracy and Employment” met together in Vidin (Bulgaria), in order to attend the kick-off meeting of the project that took place from the 15th to the 18th of March 2011.

During the meeting, all the representatives walked the first steps of this project that will create a new network at international level under the action 4.3 of the Youth in Action programme funded by the European Commission.
As the first of the three transnational meetings that will take place along the whole project, the event allowed to the participants to start to work together and set the bases that will be the origin of the future network.
To begin with the meeting, and after the welcoming speech of the Deputy Mayor of the city to the participants, the representatives of each country had the opportunity to introduce their organizations to the rest of the members of the future network.
Thanks to short presentations, each participant was able to get to know each partner, its objectives, target groups, local activities and international projects. The presentation was also a great opportunity for the representatives to introduce themselves and their previous experiences to the rest of the members of the group.
Once the organisations were presented, all the representatives worked together in the mission and future objectives that will guide the network in order to develop a platform for the exchange of best practices and able to provide support for the development of high quality projects that could increase the capacity of its members.
During the last day of the project, was also presented the next stage of the project, which aim is to create new partnerships at local level in each country. This activity pretends to promote the cooperation of the partners of the network with all kind of social sectors and institutions of the society (educational centers, public institutions, administrations, etc) that could be interested on fighting against social exclusion and on the eradication of the poverty among young people thanks to new projects of inclusion.
Beside the regular activities planned for the project, the meeting also included a press conference to which the Bulgarian media were invited in order to present and disseminate the project at local and national level in Bulgaria.
