Angels will roam the streets in order to reduce street violence |
|
The campaign "City angels" is new "Open Youth" initiative, with which young people will contribute to reducing risks in their free time. In the framework of our initiative we will organize 11 events with a preventive focus (1 pilot and 10 in the campaign). They will be implemented by a team of six young people, equipped with recognizable clothing and bicycles with small trailers. The main target group is young "street revelers” aged 16 to 30 years. Prevention will focus on the basis of antisocial street behavior (drug use, alcohol abuse, road aggression, sexual violence, social and cultural intolerance, suicide and self harm, bullying among young people). Free material will be distributed in support of the preventive messages: leaflets, antistress balls, water, single-use tests for alcohol or drugs, condoms.
