On June 17, 2012 at 12:00 am in Sofia with a press conference, held at the General Directorate "National Police" at 1 "Alexander Malinov" Blvd. (entrance from the American College), a second edition of the joint campaign under the motto "Drive responsibly and courteously” will launched by "Open Youth" and the Traffic Police department.

The campaign will be based on a special police operation using the broader control in combination with positive intervention of representatives of "Open Youth" towards encouraging responsible driving and reduction of road aggression at the beginning of the active summer season. The campaign will visit the districts of Varna (June 17), Shumen (18 June), Russe (19 June), Veliko Tarnovo (20 June) and Pleven (21 June). In Varna the operation will take place from 14 to 16 o’clock on the Varna – Golden sands road in the part between the T-crossroad and the Wooden Bridge in direction to Varna.

The campaign "Drive responsibly and courteously" is part of the international project AVENUE, supported by DG "Mobility and Transport" of the European Commission and of the overall program "Drive responsibly" of "Open Youth".
