On December 1st and 2nd 2008 the first meeting of the international project team "Heroes" (Health and road safety - volunteering heroes) took part in Paris . "Open Youth" is the Bulgarian partner in the initiative.

The strategic project objective for the organizations active in the field of prevention and prevention of HIV / AIDS, fight with alcohol and drugs abuse and road safety, is to gather and share experiences and best practices from their projects. For 3 years they will examine, improve and subsequently implement the best ones as pilot actions. The ultimate objective is party to seek synergies between experience and comparative advantages of the partners on side and partly to multiply the added value of produced by the DG Health and DG Transport funding agencies and the “Youth in Action " programme on the other.

At the end of the project partners will have 130 detailed good practices, 13 of which will be defined as best ones and will be applied at least once during the project. The information gathered will be provided for free use of any interested party.
