The representatives of the partner organizations of the project “INSIDE: International Network for Social Inclusion, Democracy and Employment” met together in Seville (Spain) from the 17th to the 20th of October 2011, in order to attend the final meeting of this project.
During the meeting, all the representatives showed the results of the fourth activity of the project and worked together on the final steps of this initiative before the achievement of its main aim: the creation of a new network at international level under the action 4.3 of the Youth in Action programme funded by the European Commission.
As the last of the 3 transnational meetings that took place during the nine-month life of the project, the representatives of the different partner organizations used this event to work together and prepare the last steps for the creation of the new network that will take the name of “INCLUSIDE: International Network for Social Inclusion, Development and Employment”, and that will aim to design and develop new projects focus on social inclusion, promotion of democratic values and creation of new employment opportunities in Europe under the concept of “learning mobility” among partner organisations and bodies from different countries.
During this final meeting, the representatives of each organisation presented to all the partners the progress made during the phase 4 of the project, which aim was to locate potential sources that could be used to fund, not only the local and international partnerships of the network on the different partner countries, but also to support future international or national projects carried out among the network members. In order to analyze these and other facts, non-formal tools as a SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats) analysis were used in order to discuss in common how to use the results of this forth activity on the structure and future projects of the network.
Besides these presentations, the representatives worked together on the draft of the statutes that will drive the future network and that include all the procedures and requirements needed for the creation of the “INCLUSIDE” platform and its structure.
Once the content of these statutes was discussed and agreed by all the representatives, it was presented to all of them the specific tools designed and created for the visibility and dissemination of results of the project and future network. During this activity, the final website of the network (www.incluside.org, now under construction) was officially presented as well as other tools created for future collaborations (INCLUSIDE forum, Facebook group, Twitter profile, Youtube channel of INCLUSIDE, etc).
As a project within the Youth in Action programme, all the methods used to develop these activities followed the principles of the non formal learning. These methodologies made possible the creation of a common framework for the dialogue of the seven partner organizations that allowed working together and discussing the final steps that the project will make to achieve its main objective: the creation of an “International Network for Social Inclusion, Democracy and Employment”.
